2023 Summer Nationals Success for Rushmoor Swimmers!

British Summer Championships - July 22nd to July 28th

The nationals period started with our first trip to Sheffield for British Summer Nationals. Already a massive achievement to qualify (by being top 24 in their age group), swimmers were looking to build on their successful season aiming for finals, medals and PBs! 

Big congratulations to Maisie who finished 1st and became the 15 Years British National 200m Breaststroke Champion!

English Open Water Championships - July 29th

Skye & Libby carried the Rushmoor flag at the national open water championships in Rotheram. Both swimmers were racing in 5km events, Skye in the 16 Years Age Group and Libby in the 19+ Years Age Group. After tough and windy conditions Skye came home 7th with Libby claiming a BRONZE in her race!

English National Summer Championships - August 2nd to August 6th

A return to Sheffield, this time for the English National Championships saw many of our swimmers attending their first ever national championships alongside swimmers who were looking to build on their success from the previous week!

Irish National Championships

Over at the Ireland National Pool, Paige was representing Rushmoor at the Irish National Champs! After a tough week where Paige raced the 200m Backstroke, 200m IM, 400m IM and 50m Butterfly she finished with an outstanding BRONZE 🥉 in the 17 Years 400m IM!
